Pillar of Nourishment
Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are a time of incredible physical demands on the body. Creating a whole human from the food we eat and our own mineral and nutrient stores takes a toll on the body that must be tended to and restored. After birth the mothers digestive system is exceptionally fragile as the organs shift back into place. Traditional postpartum diet protocols focus on easily digestible and nutrient dense recipes to gently nourish the mother, and restore her health and vitality. Mothers who follow traditional postpartum diet protocols find balance in their bodies more easily, have more stable mood/emotions & in general a sense of stability, better lactation experience, less cramping, quicker recovery time, deeper rejuvenation (less depletion), and happier baby tummies.
We will dive deep and share insight on nourishing recipes that are hydrating, warm, easy to digest, grounding and blood-building. Postpartum meal, snacks and drinks will be provided to participants.
